3rd Prize : Handmade Native American Feather Prayer Fan

Prayer fans are used in various ways by the native Americans. One of the most common use is for smudging ceremony where positive energy is brought in to the room through burning sage, cedar and sweet grass. The fan is handmade from buckskin, turkey feathers and plumes.
