A call from some seven hours drive, sent two volunteers to give help to a pair of young pups approximately four months of age. They had been heard whimpering and a neighbor contacted the St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary. The were found CHAINED without food or water. Both were dehydrated and starving. The neighbor saved their lives. As the second half of the dubious duo, Remus has a more sweet & loving character but is still impish in his own ways.

The names Remus and Romulus were chosen to honor the “memory” of the Founders of Ancient Rome, who were believed to have been raised by wolves.
