Grandmother's Welcome

grandmother timbre's welcome to saint francis wolf sanctuaryHello Dear Friends,

It’s been a long time.  I’ve been waiting for you.

My name is Timbre, but everyone calls me Grandmother.

My purpose is to share my teachings of enlightenment to all who have the ears to hear, the heart to know and the willingness to take this journey of the soul.

Please join my companions and me as we share in our life stories.

Though our experiences may make you sad,  just remember that we are all now safe and very well treated. And that each one of us, with love, attention, affection and time, has healed our wounds -both physical and emotional.

We are able to forgive those who have mistreated us, knowing that they themselves have probably been mistreated. And we are unable to hold a grudge against all humans, because we have learned that each one of you is as unique as each of us.

Our hope is that, through interaction and the teaching of our ways, all of us, both two-legged and four-legged, can find ways of living peacefully.

So, dear ones, read our stories, get to know our personalities, explore our world, and learn the ways of the Wolf.

With much love and hope for you in life,

Grandmother Timbre

    P.S.   [ A note from Wacipi – Grandmother’s life companion ]

Grandmother passed away on 08/29/2005

I was by her side the whole time to lend as much support as I could. Her head rested on our Human Grandmother's lap as our other human companions stood vigil and did everything they could to restore her to health, but there was nothing more we could do.

My heart ached with the loss of her and I did not want to leave her side.  Just before they took her away, I was able to say my last farewell. I gently removed the blanket from her face and nuzzled her one last time.

My wish for her is that she now knows true freedom.

Though we are all grieving the loss of Grandmother, I am determined that her memory and her teachings are not forgotten.

So, dry your eyes and smile. Listen to her voice carried on the wind and rejoice in the love and the knowledge that Grandmother is sharing with you.
