MmmMMmmm...Yoda
my name is, and welcome you are!
Nawh,
just kidding! I don’t really talk like that and I am not the all knowing and
wise one from Star
Wars. Nope, they call me Yoda around here ‘cause when I get really happy or
excited my ears turn sideways and stick out from my head like the movie Yoda’s
does.
In human years I am still relatively
young, being born in 2004. I was rescued from a bad situation, by a truly
amazing guy named Sam Lonewolf. But, I don’t really want to talk about my past
and that sadness, so that is all I’ll say about that.
Four Volunteers came to pick me up at Sam's and brought me here to my new home in the
"Wolf Mobile", talking to me the whole time. The Volunteers comforted me and
told me stories of my new home and all the
other wolves and wolf-dogs there. At first I was a bit scared - all of these two
leggeds in the van with me and none of them on a lease!
When I arrived, I was introduced to Mystery. She was to
be my new pen mate. I was a little intimidated by her at first. She was so
beautiful and strong. She was a wild born wolf and I could still sense that in
her.
So, like in everything else that I
do, I took a deep breath, smiled, and bowed to her. She came up to and sniffed
me, looked into my eyes and with one little growl, she let me know I was
welcome. I was so happy I jumped
around and kissed her! I think I caught her off guard because she didn't know
what to do. But...
I guess you could say
I’m a real lady’s man –‘cause I had her dancing and jumping with me in
no time!
We have been together for a little
while now and have become true life companions. I can’t seem to remember a
time without her and would not want to try. We dance and play together and enjoy
each other’s company. I love to hear her sing. She is usually the one who will
start the whole pack singing.
Well, I guess that is my story in a
nut shell. It didn’t really start until I came here and it definitely has a
“Happily Ever After” ending.
